Recall on 2009 – 2012 Harley-Davidson bikes for faulty rear brakes and brake light

The Harley-Davidson safety recall number is 0145. The recalled bikes were manufactured between June 6, 2008 and Sept. 16, 2011.

Harley-Davidson will begin its safety recall on or around Oct. 31, and dealers will install a kit for the rear brake light switch for free. For more information, owners can call Harley-Davidson at 414-343-4056, or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit www.Safercar.gov.

Benefiting organizations that help the homeless Veterans in the Upstate SC and Western NC areas.

NEW UPDATE — Rescue Ink has teamed up with Faithful Friends to lead the first charity !

When: Sunday, June 27, 2010. Check-in/registration begins at 10:30AM; Motorcycle Parade starts at 1:00PM!

Where: Registration and ride begins at Mike’s Famous Harley-Davidson, 2160 New Castle Avenue, New Castle DE — Ride ends at Coleman’s Farm, 550 Silver Run Road, Middletown DE

Rider Registration Fee: $25 per couple, $15 per person

If you aren’t participating in the ride, you can still join us for a FREE family friendly festival at Coleman’s Farm!  Everyone (including friendly dogs) is welcome to enjoy live music, food, vendors, raffles and more!  Plenty of free parking!
